A criminal case has been opened into the deaths of two people in an explosion at the Perm National Research Polytechnic University (PNRPU). This was reported on December 11 by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Perm Region.

"A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code ("Causing death by negligence to two persons")," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

As is known at the moment, the hydrodynamic stand exploded. Emergency services are currently on site.
