A case has been opened against a teenager in the Tyumen Region for failing to report a terrorist attack.

A case was opened against the teenager for failure to report a terrorist attack in the Tyumen region. This was reported on December 11 in the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.

"The investigative authorities of the Central Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia have opened a criminal case against a 17-year—old resident of Tyumen on the grounds of a crime under Article 205.6 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the agency said in a statement.

According to investigators, the teenager learned about the impending terrorist crime in December 2024 while chatting on social networks with an acquaintance.
