A search has been organized in Kamchatka for a man who left the village of Esso on November 16 and has not yet returned, and the 112 system received a message about his disappearance only on December 8. This was announced on December 11 by the Regional state-owned institution "Center for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Fire Safety in the Kamchatka Territory" (KGKU "TSOD").
Initially, it was assumed that the missing person could be located 47 km from the village in a hunter's hut. A group of two rescuers, a police officer and two volunteers who went in search of him found that the building had been partially destroyed, according to the preliminary version, by a bear. At the same time, no traces of the man's presence were found there.
Later, on December 10, a helicopter was involved in the search operation, from which it was possible to survey an area of about 42.6 thousand hectares. As of Thursday, December 11, the location of the missing person has not been established, his search continues.
On November 6, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory, Sergei Lebedev, announced that six people had disappeared in the forest in Kamchatka, and a search by the Ministry of Emergency Situations had begun. It was noted that the group was caught in bad weather. Eight rescuers and four units of special equipment were sent to search for her. On the same day, the missing people got in touch and began their journey home.
