The Paris Saint-Germain players drew with the Spanish Athletic on the road — the match of the sixth round of the general stage of the Champions League ended with a score of 0:0. This was announced on December 11.

According to TASS, Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov returned to the starting line-up and played a second consecutive dry match for PSG. He finished the match without conceding goals, as well as the previous match in the French championship against Rennes.

After six rounds, the reigning Champions League winner scored 13 points, while Athletic scored 5. In the next round, PSG will play away from Sporting on January 20, and the Spanish club will face Atalanta on January 21.
