Vostok UAV operators destroyed an armored personnel carrier near Gulyai-Pole
The operators of the Vostok group of forces' unmanned systems destroyed an American M1117 armored personnel carrier and disrupted the rotation of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Gulyai-Pole area of the Zaporizhia region. This was reported on December 11 in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the agency, a reconnaissance drone detected the movement of Ukrainian equipment, after which the armored vehicle was targeted by several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
"The equipment was destroyed along with the militants," the Defense Ministry said.
Later, the operators of FPV drones hit another APU vehicle with manpower on the outskirts of the settlement. The ministry stressed that the forest plantations adjacent to the city are under the tight fire control of the Russian unmanned contingent, which does not allow the enemy to rotate, bring reserves and deliver ammunition.
Earlier, on December 10, it was reported that the Grad MLRS calculations struck the points of temporary deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Gulyai-Pole. The targets were discovered after aerial reconnaissance, which made it possible to establish the exact location of the Ukrainian units. As a result, the enemy's fortified positions and equipment were destroyed.
