The head of the BNB of Poland declared the inability of Europe to resist Russia
Europe will not be able to stand up to Russia on its own in the event of a military clash. This was stated on December 10 on the radio station RMF24 by the head of the Polish National Security Bureau, Slawomir Zentskiewicz.
"Unfortunately, no," Tsentskevich replied to a question about Europe's ability to defend itself.
According to him, the EU countries will not be able to significantly increase their military potential in the near future, and the statements of some politicians about the possibility of doing without the United States are based only on personal faith. He also expressed concern about the likelihood of a military clash between Russia and European countries.
Earlier, on November 24, it was reported that European countries may try to benefit from a possible rapprochement between Moscow and Washington. Former Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz noted that Poland is not psychologically ready for such changes, but it may have to return to interaction with Russia. He also admitted that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline could be put into operation with the participation of American capital, which would make Warsaw dependent on Russian supplies.
