The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Thursday, December 11.

It is noted that the commander correctly used the terrain and brought the tank to the firing line, after which he defeated the enemy positions. During the clash, in addition to a strongpoint and a heavy machine gun crew, up to 10 militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were killed.

As a result of the coordinated work of the crew of the combat vehicle, it was possible to prepare a springboard for the further advance of the Russian Army units.

Also, the Ministry of Defense told. that Sergeant Alexander Barashkov, as commander of an artillery piece, supervised the implementation of a combat mission for counter-battery warfare under the condition of the active use of drones by the enemy. As a result of the fire action of the Russian battery, it was possible to suppress two mortar crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the personnel of the enemy forces.

The successful completion of the combat mission contributed to the further advancement of Russian military personnel in one of the tactical areas.
