The psychologist listed the qualities of the "ideal" man for Russian women
When looking for a partner, Russians are increasingly focusing on the personal qualities of a man, rather than on his status and income. Clinical psychologist Ksenia Savelyeva explained to Izvestia that there is a kind of "quiet revolution" in relationships in the country: women have become economically independent and choose partners not "out of necessity", but out of emotional compatibility.
According to her, modern Russians are not looking for a harsh macho man and not only a breadwinner, but a person who will be psychologically comfortable next to them.
"Today, a real man in the eyes of women is not only a breadwinner, but also a partner for building a common world. Therefore, qualities that are important for daily life have come to the fore: reliability and decency, care and kindness, cleanliness and neatness, readiness for dialogue," the clinical psychologist emphasized.
Savelieva explained that emotional skills are becoming the "new superpower" of men.
"The ability to gently smooth out a quarrel, hug in time, support with a joke or just listen is now valued more than the opportunity to give an expensive gift," the expert noted, adding that the trend reflects a growing demand for psychological safety in society.
She noted that women's ideas are becoming more realistic: more and more men are consciously involved in child care, household chores and are ready to openly discuss feelings.
