At least 22 people were killed and 16 others injured in the collapse of two four-storey adjacent buildings in the historic city of Fez in northern Morocco. This was reported on December 10 by the newspaper Le Monde.
It is specified that the number of victims may increase as search and rescue operations continue. The collapse occurred at night in the Al-Mustaqbal quarter. Residents of neighboring houses were evacuated for safety reasons.
