A new school for 1.3 thousand places will be built on the territory of Khimki

A new school designed for more than 1.3 thousand places will be built in Khimki (Moscow region). The project provides for the creation of a large sports area for high school students and an active recreation area for elementary school students.

The school will be located in the village of Ruzino on the territory of the residential complex "New Zelenograd". According to the Ministry of Housing Policy of the region, the building with a total area of 21,000 square meters will have four floors. In addition to classrooms, the facility is equipped with a food hall, a medical center, vaccination rooms, a center for children's initiatives, a library and information center and two gyms. This is reported by the Podmoskovye Segodnya news agency.

A football field, volleyball and basketball courts will be built on the adjacent territory.

Earlier it was reported that since 2020, 19 schools and kindergartens have been built in the north of Moscow at the expense of the city budget.
