Over the past week, about 8,000 cases of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) were detected in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. This is reported by the news agency " <url>".

More than 5,700 cases are children under the age of 18. 209 people, including 179 children, were hospitalized with a diagnosis of acute respiratory viral infections.

A total of 604 cases of influenza have been identified. Infection with influenza A (H3N2) was confirmed in 304 cases, and A (H1N1) in three cases. In 175 more cases, the virus did not respond to typing.

In the Novosibirsk region, due to the increase in morbidity, it was decided to introduce additional sanitary safety measures in educational institutions due to the increase in the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections.
