Christmas markets will open in Lipetsk on December 15. It will be possible to purchase a Christmas tree in about 50 retail outlets.

According to GOROD48, the cost of Christmas trees has changed little compared to 2024, when sellers charged from 1 to 1.2 thousand rubles per meter tree. Bazaars will open in all districts of Lipetsk.

At the moment, about 3 thousand trees have been cut down on the plantations. Harvesting is carried out in Leninsky, Dobrovsky, Zadonsky, Khleven, Terbunsky forestry enterprises. In total, it is planned to harvest about 17 thousand trees.

Since December 1, spruce young trees in the forests have been placed under special protection. A fine of up to 500 thousand rubles is provided for illegal logging of pine trees.
