Expired Mir cards will continue to work indefinitely

Expired Mir cards will continue to operate on an ongoing basis, with minor exceptions. This was announced on December 9 by the NSPK press service with reference to CEO Dmitry Dubynin.

The relevant decision was made by the Council of participants and users of the payment market at the NSPK.

"Today, the extension is an exclusively service necessity aimed at the convenience of citizens and reducing the burden on the banking infrastructure," he said in an interview with TASS.
