The son of cosmonaut Kadenyuk was found dead in Kiev.

Dmitry, the son of the first Ukrainian cosmonaut Leonid Kadenyuk, was found dead in an apartment in Kiev. This was reported on December 10 by RBC-Ukraine.

According to the newspaper's sources, the 41-year-old man was found by his mother in an apartment on Lesya Ukrainka Square.

"According to family friends, the body was lying at the front door. There were numerous wounds on him, and a knife in his hand," the Telegram channel said.

At the same time, as journalists note, the nature of the injuries on Kadenyuk's body may indicate a possible struggle. A criminal case has been opened under the article on premeditated murder, the circumstances are being clarified.

Leonid Kadenyuk flew into space on the American space shuttle Columbia in 1997 as a payload specialist.
