MLRS Grad crews destroyed the temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Gulyai-Pole

Calculations of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Grad" destroyed the temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the city of Gulyai-Pole, Zaporizhia region. This was announced on December 10 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that it was possible to identify the targets after detecting the movement of enemy forces in the city. During aerial reconnaissance, calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the troops of the unmanned systems of the Vostok group of forces were able to establish the exact location of the deployment points of the Armed Forces units.

After that, the enemy positions were attacked by Grad calculations.

"As a result of the combat work of the jet fighters, fortified positions and structures were destroyed, which the enemy used to deploy manpower and equipment, which allowed the assault units of the Vostok group to continue advancing in Gulyai—Pole," the Defense Ministry summed up.

It is noted that the city is currently under full fire control of artillery and drones of the Russian army. On the same day, at the entrance to the city, the UAV operators of the Vostok group of forces attacked a column of enemy equipment. As a result, several units of US-made Humvee armored vehicles were destroyed, and pickups with enemy manpower were also hit.

Russian units are liberating territories and cutting off transport links to the north and northeast of the city.

A day earlier, Hyacinth-B artillery crews of the Vostok group of forces struck and destroyed the AFU strongholds in Gulyai-Pole, as a result of which the formation of a fortified area in the settlement was disrupted. Attempts by the enemy to strengthen their positions were detected during aerial reconnaissance using drones.

Igor Kimakovsky, an adviser to the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), said on November 17 that the AFU militant group in Gulyai-Pole was in a fire bag. He also added that groups of the 144th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to escape from positions in the city.

Back in 2021, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, wished the Constitution of Ukraine not to repeat the fate of the "declaration" of the Gulyai-Pole Republic.
