Amur Hunting Supervision inspectors detained a group of poachers
Inspectors of the Amur Hunting Supervision have detained a group of poachers who illegally obtained two ungulates in the Tynda district. According to preliminary data, the damage to the nature of the region is estimated at 450 thousand rubles. This was announced on December 10 by the Department for the Protection of Wildlife of the Amur region.
"In addition to the sanctions for illegal hunting provided for by law, poachers will also have to pay 450 thousand rubles in compensation for damage caused to the nature of the Amur region," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the violators were identified during the raid events on December 7 on the territory of the hunting grounds of Bomnak LLC. The inspectors noticed a UAZ car and several men next to it, one of whom was armed. During the inspection, the staff found bags of moose meat, but the hunters did not have permission to catch it.
All the detainees, residents of the Skovorodinsky district, were taken to the Tyndinsky district police department. A weapons arsenal was seized, as well as moose and raisin meat.
Proceedings are currently underway.
Earlier, on July 11, it was reported that poachers were detained in the Yelizovsky district of the Kamchatka Territory, who were fishing for salmon species without a license on the Paratunka, Avacha and Pinachevskaya rivers. It is noted that during the inspection, one of the violators found almost 20 kg of salmon roe, the second — nine specimens of sockeye salmon, two specimens of chum salmon and five specimens of char, the third — a specimen of sockeye salmon and pink salmon and 14 specimens of chum salmon. The total damage caused to fish stocks is estimated at over 1.4 million rubles.
