Six children were injured in the shooting in Sumy
In Sumy, Ukraine, a man opened fire from the window of a multi-storey building, injuring children. This was reported on December 9 in the Telegram channel of the Sumy region Prosecutor's office.
According to the agency, the incident occurred on Tuesday. The prosecutor's office reported that a 60-year-old resident of the city was detained, who opened fire on teenagers with a smoothbore hunting rifle. Four minors between the ages of 13 and 16 received wounds of varying severity.
Later, the regional military administration clarified that a total of six children were injured. All of them have been hospitalized, and the investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, on December 3, it was reported that representatives of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) engaged in a confrontation with military personnel on the territory of the sanatorium "Zhovten" near Kiev. According to Ukrainska Pravda, the scouts occupied the territory, used weapons and captured ten soldiers, after which they barricaded themselves in the building. The police, the military law enforcement service and representatives of law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene.
