Russian citizens Daria Luchkina and her 10-year-old son Maxim, who were found near the Turkish-Syrian border, have successfully returned to Russia. This was announced on December 9 in an interview with Izvestia by Olga Loginova, the mother of a Russian woman.

"We returned, and thank God," she said.

According to Loginova, after the flight to Istanbul in October of this year, nothing was known about the fate of Daria and her son for a long time. The relatives turned to Russian law enforcement and diplomatic services for help.

Earlier, on November 24, it was reported that Daria and Maxim disappeared after their flight to Istanbul on October 17. Initially, the woman stated that she was going to a corporate party with the children of colleagues, but it turned out that no event was held. From that moment on, the connection with them was lost.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
