In Sudan, an IL-76 military cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Port Sudan Airport. This was reported on December 9 by Al Bawaba.
"The plane crashed about 10 kilometers from the city in the district of Adarawib. According to military sources, a technical malfunction has occurred," the publication says.
The cargo plane was on a food delivery mission, and at least three crew members were killed in the accident.
The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) has not yet released an official statement, and the full list of victims remains unknown. It is noted that rescue teams continue to work at the crash site.
Earlier, on December 8, in Brevard County, Florida, a small plane made an emergency landing on the interstate right during evening traffic. As a result, the aircraft collided with a car and one person was injured.
