ISU is studying Ukraine's demand to ban Russian figure skaters from the Olympics

The press service of the International Skating Union (ISU) commented on the appeal of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine demanding the suspension of Russian figure skaters Adelia Petrosyan and Peter Gumennik from participating in the 2026 Olympic Games in Italy. This was reported on December 9 by Sport24.

"The letter and the issues raised in it are currently being studied by the ISU. That's all we can say on this topic," the organization said.

The ISU confirmed that it has received an official request from the Ukrainian side and is currently reviewing the issues raised in it, without giving other comments.
