Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Russian algorithms for controlling groups of drones and robotic complexes. The head of state stated this on December 9 during a meeting with the head of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Gennady Krasnikov in the Kremlin.

The Russian President noted that the results in this area look "very good." Krasnikov stressed that drone group control technologies are considered strategically important for the technological sovereignty and defense capability of the country, and the Russian Academy of Sciences coordinates thousands of studies in this area.

"The Russian Academy of Sciences is developing a program of fundamental scientific research. As part of this work, we are coordinating more than 6,000 studies conducted in 714 scientific institutions," Krasnikov said.

Earlier, on November 27, it was reported that Vladimir Putin called Russia's achievements in the field of unmanned vehicles revolutionary. He noted that the country has significantly increased its production capacity and is already exporting drones, meeting both internal and external needs.
