Temporary restrictions on aircraft flights have been introduced in the Domodedovo area.

Domodedovo Airport will adjust its flight schedule due to restrictions on the use of airspace. This was announced on December 9 by Artem Korenyako, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, in his Telegram channel.

"Due to the introduction of temporary restrictions on the use of airspace in the Domodedovo area, the airport accepts and dispatches flights in coordination with the relevant authorities," the report says.

According to Korenyako, it is possible to make adjustments to the flight schedule. It is noted that the measures were introduced in order to ensure flight safety.

Earlier in the day, it was reported about the introduction of restrictive measures at Sheremetyevo Airport. As a result, the flight schedule was adjusted and approval for the departure of flights was established. Due to restrictions at the airport, 16 flights were canceled, and 14 more planes went to alternate airfields.
