More than 100 classes have been transferred to distance learning in Lipetsk
In Lipetsk, 100 classes and one full school were transferred to distance learning. The reason is the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections.
The press service of the city's Department of Education clarified that distance learning was introduced in the period from December 10 to December 16 inclusive in 100 classes of 29 schools, and school No. 60 was generally closed for this week.
Since December 8, the number of closed classes has increased from 73 to 100. At the same time, the number of schools with partially closed classrooms decreased from 31 to 29.
Since the beginning of December, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections in the Lipetsk region has increased by almost 21.5%. More than 6.5 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections have been registered, including 131 cases of influenza. However, the incidence remains 14% below the epidemic threshold, writes GOROD48.
A class or institution leaves for distance learning for 7-10 days if 20% or more of the children are absent due to the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections.
Earlier, on November 28, the information center of the government of the Tyumen region reported on the transfer of schools to a distance learning format due to an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections. It was noted that from December 1 to December 14, schools in Tyumen, Tobolsk, Ishim, as well as Zavodoukovsky, Golyshmanovsky, Tyumen, Tobolsk, Omutinsky, Isetsky, Sorokinsky and Yurginsky municipal districts will be closed for face-to-face visits.
