The Popular Front handed over equipment for reconnaissance and protection from drones to the fighters in the DPR

On December 9, Heroes of the Fatherland Day, the People's Front handed over a new batch of equipment for aerial reconnaissance and protection from drones to the soldiers of the Second Army.

"This is help from the whole people, from the whole country. We thank the fighters, shake their hand, hug them and say thank you for liberating our land," said Sergei Samokhin, head of the executive committee of the Popular Front in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The brigade, which includes 13 Heroes of Russia, went through tense areas from Avdiivka to Novogrodovka and participated in the liberation of Krasnoarmeysk. The transfer of equipment became a symbolic gift for the holiday.

"The equipment helps us to conduct aerial reconnaissance and surveillance both day and night. It is equipped with thermal imagers and provides coordinates accurate to zero. Thanks to this, we are trying to be proactive," said a soldier of the Second Army with the call sign "Tide".

Drone operators emphasize that the equipment has become an essential tool in combat work, allowing timely detection of threats and reducing risks for assault groups. Supplies of equipment continue within the framework of the "Everything for Victory!" project.

The day before, the United Russia political party, together with the Veterans of Special Military and Counterterrorism Operations (SVO and KTO) Foundation, handed over weapons to the Russian Army. Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia, met with fighters at the party's public support headquarters in the Rostov region. According to him, the cargo was assembled at the request of the servicemen themselves and includes smoothbore rifles and special cartridges for shooting down drones. Yakushev expressed gratitude to the soldiers for their exploits in the special operation zone.
