The air defense forces shot down another Ukrainian Armed Forces drone flying to Moscow.

The Air Defense forces destroyed another unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flying to Moscow. This was announced on December 9 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"Another UAV flying to Moscow was destroyed," he wrote on Twitter.

Earlier it was reported that the air defense forces destroyed two drones flying to the capital. It was noted that emergency services specialists are working at the crash site.

It will become a field laboratory for testing the latest weapons systems and protect the region's infrastructure from drone attacks.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the air defense forces had eliminated 26 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in five hours. In particular, 17 of them were shot down over the Bryansk region, two over the Kaluga Region, one each over the Kursk and Smolensk regions, the Stavropol Territory, the Kabardino—Balkarian and Chechen Republics, as well as Ingushetia and North Ossetia-Alania.
