Russia will respond harshly to Ukraine for the attack on the civilian population in Cheboksary. Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma's defense committee, expressed this opinion on Tuesday, December 9.

"And, as always, [there will be] a massive blow to Ukraine's energy facilities, engineering structures, and energy facilities that power the military-industrial complex. We deliver very harsh blows every time after an attack on the civilian population," the parliamentarian said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

Earlier in the day, it was reported that 14 people, including one child, were injured in an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Cheboksary. All of them receive the necessary medical care. In addition, a temporary accommodation facility continues to operate on the basis of one of the educational institutions of the microdistrict.
