Preventive work will be intensified in Kamchatka due to the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections

In the Kamchatka Territory, preventive work will be strengthened due to the increasing incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). The corresponding order was given by Governor Vladimir Solodov.

Over the past week, the increase in morbidity has exceeded 20%. Four schools have been quarantined, as well as 71 classrooms in 21 schools. At the same time, the incidence remains below the epidemic threshold, KamchatkaMedia news agency notes.

The most intensive increase in morbidity is observed among children under the age of two years. Rospotrebnadzor notes the importance of strengthening information work with the population on non-specific prevention measures, especially among people from high-risk groups of influenza.

Earlier it was reported that additional sanitary safety measures will be introduced in educational institutions of the Novosibirsk region.
