Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Alexander Alimov Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The relevant decree was published on December 9 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

"To appoint Alexander Sergeevich Alimov as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation," the text of the document says.
