The authorities of St. Petersburg will allocate 100 million rubles for the initiatives of schoolchildren

The winners of the sixth season of the project "Your Budget in schools" are being determined in St. Petersburg. Students from 90 schools participate in the competition. 35 project teams will create a new educational space.

The agency clarifies that a record amount of 100 million rubles will be allocated from the city treasury for the implementation of the winning ideas this year. Also this year, there was a separate nomination for historical and patriotic initiatives. The 30 winners of the first nomination will receive up to 3 million rubles, and the five winners of the special nomination will receive up to 2 million rubles.

Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation has prepared a list of patriotic literature for extracurricular reading by the beginning of the school year. The methodological recommendations are aimed at providing practical assistance in matters of modernization, as well as improving the quality of library and information services and strengthening the material and technical equipment of school libraries.
