The FSB detained the director of an overhaul operator in the Chelyabinsk region

The director of a regional capital repair operator in the Chelyabinsk region was detained in a case of abuse of authority and receiving a bribe. This was announced on December 9 by the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia.

"It was established that from September 2024 to March 2025, the director <...>, in prior agreement with his deputy, secured the illegal conclusion of a contract with a commercial organization to carry out major repairs to the roof of an apartment building in Chelyabinsk at an inflated cost. The preliminary damage to the Fund from illegal actions amounted to over 3.4 million rubles," the message says.
