The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District plans to build a transshipment complex, which should simplify the development of new deposits in the Arctic. The option of locating the complex near the city of Labytnangi is being considered so that the infrastructure of the Salekhard River Port and the Obskoi Pier industrial Park can be used.

The issue was considered at a meeting of the interdepartmental working group.

According to <url> news agency with reference to Rosmorrechflot, the delivery of equipment for field development will become easier due to the territorial proximity to promising production centers, the availability of the necessary infrastructure, and access to the Northern Sea Route.

The order to implement the project was given by the assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, the head of the Maritime Board Nikolai Patrushev.

On December 8, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin told Izvestia that according to the program of the national project "Infrastructure for Life", cities located on the Northern Sea Route (NSR) will be developed as a priority. This national project is designed to improve housing, transport, social and communal infrastructure, and covers the whole of Russia, including the North.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
