Roskachestvo named the best sparkling wines of Russia
Roskachestvo has presented an annual rating of the best sparkling wines and garnishes in Russia as part of the Russian Wine Guide project. This was reported on December 9th.
The leaders included wines from the Krasnodar Territory, the Rostov region and the Crimea. Among the white brutes, the Brut d'Or Blanc de Blanc (Abrau-Durso, 2021) and Blanc de Blanc (Fanagoria, 2019) received high marks using the classical method, while among the pink ones, Pinot Noir (New World, 2020) and Imperial Cuvee received high marks (Abrau-Durso, 2022).
According to RIA Novosti, the project annually helps to identify the best samples of sparkling wines and garnishes, assessing the quality, taste and aroma of products from Russian manufacturers.
In addition, experts named the leaders among semi-sweet and semi-dry wines, as well as petnates produced using the ancestral method. Among the best were Muscat (Winery No. 78, 2024), Frizzante (ZB Vine, 2024) and Kokur Bely (Two Brothers, 2024).
Earlier, on December 7, it was reported that the share of domestic sparkling wine in the Russian market increased from 67% to 72%. Roskachestvo noted that from January to October 2025, 146 million liters of sparkling wine were produced, which is 8.6% more than in the same period last year, and 60 new product lines appeared in retail, including small bottles and tin cans.
