American game developers have registered seven trademarks in Russia
Two American computer game developers have registered seven trademarks in Russia. Among them are the names of the games Dishonored, Starfield, Wolfenstein, Deathloop, Fallout, Quake and Call of Duty. This became known on December 9th.
Applications for registration of the logos of these games were submitted to the Federal Intellectual Property Service (Rospatent) in October 2025 on behalf of Activision Publishing, an American computer game development and publishing company, and ZeniMax Media, Inc., an American subsidiary of Microsoft Gaming.
Trademarks are registered according to two classes of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICTS) No. 09 and No. 41, covering, in particular, software for computers and video game consoles, as well as entertainment services, including the provision of online games. This is reported by TASS.
