The calculation of the CBT "Solntsepek" destroyed the fortified point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Gulyai-Pole

The calculation of the Solntsepek heavy flamethrower system of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a fortified deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the city of Gulyai-Pole, Zaporizhia region. This was announced on December 9 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that defensive positions and engineering barriers were also discovered in enemy positions.

"After the coordinates were transferred to the command post, the task of destroying the enemy was assigned to the calculation of the Solntsepek CBT of the 35th army of the Vostok group, which launched thermobaric ammunition at the identified targets," the department added.

As a result of the strike, the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, along with the manpower, were destroyed. This made it possible to create conditions for the further advance of the Russian assault groups in this direction.

Russian units are liberating territories and cutting off transport links to the north and northeast of the city.

A day earlier, the Russian Army destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces assault regiment near Gulyai-Pole. It is specified that the regiment was almost completely eliminated by high-explosive aerial bombs (FAB). In addition, the commanders on the ground requested the withdrawal of the survivors, but the high command of the regiment rejected this request.

Prior to that, on December 5, operators of attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the troops of the unmanned systems of the Vostok group of forces identified and destroyed hexacopters and controls of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Gulyai-Pole.

Back in 2021, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, wished the constitution of Ukraine not to repeat the fate of the "declaration" of the Gulyai-Pole Republic.
