Putin approved the strategy for the development of healthcare in the Russian Federation until 2030

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a strategy for the development of healthcare in Russia until 2030. The relevant decree was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on December 9.

"In accordance with Article 17 of Federal Law No. 172-FZ of June 28, 2014 On Strategic Planning in the Russian Federation, I hereby decree: to approve the attached strategy for the development of healthcare in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030," the decree says.

The same document notes that the coverage of antiretroviral therapy for HIV patients currently stands at 90.5%.

A day earlier, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that Russia had managed to reduce deaths from cancer and increase the five-year survival rate of patients by an average of 9-10%. According to him, new drugs have been used in the treatment, including personalized mRNA vaccines, so far for certain types of diseases.
