One person was killed and five injured in a head-on accident in the Urals

In Alapaevsk, Sverdlovsk region, as a result of a head-on collision between a UAZ and a Gazelle, one person was killed and five injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Monday morning, December 8, on the 111th km of the Yekaterinburg–Rezh–Alapaevsk highway. It was previously established that the driver of the UAZ-425 lost control, the car drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Gazelle.

As a result of the collision, one of the passengers of the loaf died on the spot. The driver and four of his passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries, writes <url> news agency.

The circumstances of the accident are being established.

On December 7, Ford and BMW passenger cars collided in the Saratov region. As a result, three people died, including a child. Three more people were hospitalized with injuries.
