Russia's oldest recording company, Melodiya, plans to launch more than 20 releases in the near future. This was announced to Izvestia on December 8 by Karina Abrahamyan, First Deputy General Director of Melody Company JSC.

"Children's stories will be released in the coming months. These will be "Old Man Hottabych," "Captain Vrungel," and "Ali Baba." We will have an Armenian duduk and several classic releases," Abrahamyan clarified.

The first releases were the cult record with autogenic training of the 1980s, a record by composer David Tukhmanov, as well as reissues of the Zodiac album "Disco Alliance" and vinyl VIA Dos Mukasan. The company plans to release the albums Pesnyarov, a collection dedicated to Alexandra Pakhmutova, and an album with songs by Anna Herman.

Earlier that day, it became known that Melodiya had resumed production of vinyl records decades after the cessation of production in Soviet factories. It is noted that at the launch stage, Badri Devishev, chief engineer of the April Melodies plant, was involved in the work. All the plates are printed from restored original master tapes, annotated by experts. Melodies plans to expand its line and release records commissioned by artists and music companies.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
