UAZ explained the postponement of the launch of sales of the upgraded Patriot

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) postponed the launch of the restyled Patriot SUV, due to the fact that it plans to introduce an update for the entire line of cars built on its basis. We are talking about a "Pickup truck" and a commercial "Pro". This was reported to Izvestia on December 8 by the company's press service.

It was reported the day before that sales of the updated UAZ Patriot SUV were postponed from the fourth quarter of 2025 to the third quarter of 2026.

The upgraded Patriot will receive a 2.0-liter engine with a capacity of 130 hp, as well as a 6-speed manual transmission. Externally, this car is distinguished by new fully LED headlights, a new steering wheel, a central tunnel and a multimedia system will appear in the cabin.

Earlier, on October 30, it was reported that promising UAZ Patriot and Pickup models with a new six-speed transmission and a new two-liter diesel engine went for comprehensive tests in Ulyanovsk.
