UAZ postponed the start of sales of the updated Patriot

Sales of the updated UAZ Patriot SUV are scheduled to begin before the third quarter of 2026. Alexey Spirin, CEO of the Ulyanovsk plant, told about this, Autonews reports on December 8.

The upgraded UAZ Patriot will receive an engine from a 2.0-liter Sollers Argo commercial vehicle with a capacity of 130 hp, as well as a 6-speed manual transmission.

Externally, such a Patriot is distinguished by new fully LED headlights, a new steering wheel, a central tunnel and a multimedia system will appear in the cabin.

In the spring of this year, Alexei Spirin told Izvestia that the debut of the updated Patriot is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.

Earlier, on October 30, it was reported that promising UAZ Patriot and Pickup models with a new six-speed transmission and a new two-liter diesel engine went for comprehensive tests in Ulyanovsk. They have already covered tens of thousands of kilometers, and tests confirm the high performance of the models.
