The crisis in Finland provoked by the severance of ties with Russia could turn into a full-fledged economic disaster. This was stated on December 8 by Associate professor of the Economics Faculty of RUDN University Sergey Zainullin in an interview with Prime.

According to the expert, if the Finnish authorities maintain their "suicidal policy", the crisis in the country may turn into an economic catastrophe.

According to the Suomen Asiakastieto agency, currently almost 12.4 thousand people in Finland have lost their jobs, and the unemployment rate has reached its highest level since 2009 at 10.3%.
