Air defense systems destroyed several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) above the Luga district of the Leningrad region. This was announced on December 8 by the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko.

"The air defense forces destroyed several UAVs in the Luga district," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that there are no victims. There was also no damage to the infrastructure.

It will become a field laboratory for testing the latest weapons systems and protect the region's infrastructure from drone attacks.

On December 7, the governor of the Volgograd region, Andrei Bocharov, reported that as a result of the repulse of the UAV attack by the air defense forces, the wreckage of the drone fell in the area of residential buildings. It was clarified that paramedics and firefighters, as well as employees of the municipality, were sent to the site of the wreckage.
