Russia and the Ukrainian people are inclined to accept the conditions proposed by the United States to resolve the conflict. This was announced on December 7 by the head of the White House, Donald Trump.
"Russia, I believe, is not against it. But I'm not sure Zelensky agrees with him (the plan. — Ed.). His people support this, but he himself has not yet read the proposal, so someday he will explain to me why this is so," he told reporters at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
