In the Kirishi district of the Leningrad region, work has been completed to neutralize the wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on December 7 in the press service of the regional administration.

"Explosives experts have completed work on neutralizing UAV debris in the Kirishsky district of the Leningrad region, the security threat has been eliminated," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the explosive was defused at the scene. There are no casualties or material damage. The discovered fragments of the drone were sent to the Investigative Committee for further investigation.

The new equipment will be used for reconnaissance, strikes and installation of protective curtains in ports.

The discovery of the wreckage became known on December 6. It was clarified that explosives experts had been working at the scene during the day.
