Temporary restrictions have been introduced at Sochi Airport

Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been introduced at Sochi Airport. This was announced on December 7 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"Sochi Airport — temporary restrictions have been imposed on the reception and release of aircraft," Korenyako wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is specified that this measure is necessary to ensure the safety of aviation flights.

On the same day, the Federal Air Transport Agency lifted restrictions at seven Russian airports: Vladikavkaz (Beslan), Volgograd, Grozny (Severny), Magas, Nalchik, Orenburg, Orsk. For the duration of the restrictions, two aircraft en route to Orenburg were sent to an alternate airfield.
