Germany has proposed to resume the import of Russian gas
The resumption of Russian gas imports would open up an opportunity for Germany to become more actively involved in the process of resolving the situation around Ukraine. This was announced on December 7 by the new co-chairman of the BSW party (formerly the Sarah Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice party). Fabio De Masi.
"Of course, it would be a rational policy if we went to Mr. [Russian President Vladimir] They told Putin: "We are ready to buy gas again and we want to link this to the truce in Ukraine," De Mazy said at the BSW congress in Magdeburg.
His position boils down to the fact that this step is capable of returning the Europeans to the negotiating track on the situation in Ukraine.
