Air defense forces destroyed 11 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over two regions of Russia in five hours

Air defense systems shot down 11 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia in five hours. This was announced on December 7 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"From 13:00 to 18:00 Moscow time, 11 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is specified that seven drones were destroyed over the Kursk region, four more were shot down in the sky over the territory of the Belgorod region.

The main enemy of our air defense fighters are long—range attack drones.

The Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 77 Ukrainian UAVs in the skies over Russia last night. Thus, 42 drones were eliminated in the skies over the Saratov region, 12 more over the Rostov region, 10 over the territory of the Republic of Crimea and nine over the Volgograd region. In addition, two drones were destroyed over the Belgorod region and one each over the territory of the Astrakhan Region and the Chechen Republic.
