Sobyanin spoke about the renewal of places for walking in different areas of Moscow

Renovation of recreational spaces has been completed in several districts of Moscow. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, noting that for the authorities of the capital, the comfort of residents comes first.

"In the Begovy district, in the pedestrian zone from Leningradsky Prospekt to 2nd Botkin Passage, paths were put in order, additional paths were made, gazebos, benches, park swings, deck chairs and a dog-walking area were placed," the mayor wrote on his channel in the IACH.

In turn, swings, illuminated arches and benches have been installed in Kosino-Ukhtomsky Boulevard in Kozhukhov's 4th microdistrict. There is also a playground with an amphitheater, trees have been planted and flower beds have been arranged.

Benches and swings with awnings have also appeared in Nekrasovka on Lovers' Alley, which connects the reservoir from Lyuberka Street with the nearest gym and playgrounds.

"Picturesque rockeries with coniferous perennials were made in the pedestrian zone on Chernomorsky Boulevard and the ramp for athletes was updated," the mayor added.

In November, Sobyanin said that the capital continues to develop sports infrastructure near residential areas, taking into account the wishes of residents. He noted that the purpose of the work is to provide Muscovites with comfortable places for training and outdoor recreation.

So, according to the mayor, in Dubrava Park in Kurkino, the basketball and volleyball courts were renovated, the pavement was replaced, new stands and fencing were installed. A beach volleyball area was put in order near a large urban pond in Zelenograd and exercise equipment was installed for warming up.

In the Yantarnaya Gorka Park in Bogorodskoye, instead of the outdated sports ground, a modern football and basketball zone with new equipment, exercise equipment and workout complexes has appeared. In the "Green Park" between Novogireevo and Ivanovskoye, the football arena was renovated and additional playgrounds for volleyball and sports were created.
