Air Liquide employees have joined forces to provide direct assistance to the front

Employees of two enterprises belonging to the Air Liquide group of companies in Russia have implemented large-scale projects to assist the front. Representatives of the factories in Zelenograd and Kazan handed over equipment and equipment to the soldiers at the front line.

"This story is not about corporate obligations, but about personal responsibility. The main principle of the help that the staff has collected is strict targeting and rejection of formalism. People wanted to be sure that every device, every generator, would fall into the hands of exactly the fighters who need it most right now," Air Liquide in Russia said in a press release.

So, the staff of Logika JSC near Moscow sent a batch of special equipment to the SVO zone. We are talking about professional equipment that is critical for effective work and directly affects the safety of crews. During the preparation of the shipment, the team worked closely with the combat commanders to ensure that the purchase was not carried out at random. The total cost of the equipment amounted to several tens of millions of rubles.

"As a matter of principle, we do not simply ship cargo "to the region" or to impersonal warehouses. All this equipment is designed for specific guys, with whose commanders we have built direct human interaction. We know for sure that each tool will get exactly where it is urgently needed, and will protect people," said Mikhail Vashkin, head of the Zelenograd division of Logika JSC.

The employees of the Air Liquide division in Tatarstan, for their part, solved the problem of ensuring the life of the military. The team purchased and transferred 10 powerful DZ-Genese diesel generators for the needs of the Bars-Sarmat special purpose center. They will become a source of light and heat at temporary deployment points in the Zaporizhia direction. The generators were personally handed over to the soldiers who came to Kazan for them.

As the department's management noted, the action was the result of a general outburst of employees who wanted to express their conscious civic position and provide practical support.

According to Artem Serebrennikov, CEO of the management company, the initiative of the two companies' teams has found a lively response and support throughout Air Liquide. He added that other regions of the group's presence would soon take up the baton of good deeds.

In early December, it became known that the Russian division of the Air Liquide group had begun implementing a contract for a state defense order for the needs of the Roscosmos state corporation.

Thus, Logika JSC signed a contract for the supply of technical gases for NPO Energomash JSC as part of the state defense order.

"Participation in the implementation of the state defense order opens up new opportunities and scales for us. (...) The group's technological potential will be fully utilized to strengthen the country's economic and technological sovereignty and defense capability," Artem Serebrennikov noted at the time.

Air Liquide added that the group's companies are included in the register of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation and meet the requirements imposed by the legislation on the state defense order to the performers. In addition, they stressed that participation in the state defense order confirms the preservation of the production competencies of the Russian division of Air Liquide: being part of an international holding company, under external management it switched to a new strategy for foreign business integration into the system of state defense orders.

In August of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree transferring the Russian assets of the French industrial holding Air Liquide to the temporary management of M-Logistics.

In accordance with the decree, 100% of the shares in the authorized capital of eight Russian legal entities (Air Liquide, Air Liquide Alabuga, Air Liquide Balakovo, Air Liquide Kstovo, Air Liquide Kuzbass, Air Liquide Lipetsk, Sever Liquid Gas,Air Liquid Ryazan") and a part of shares in two more companies ("Logic", "Air Liquid Severstal"). The French side is suspended from managing these assets.

These enterprises are engaged in providing industry with technical gases, including oxygen, nitrogen and argon. They are critically important for industries such as metallurgy, petrochemistry, microelectronics, medicine, and rocket engineering.
