The 38th episode of the Kilauea volcano eruption has been recorded in Hawaii. This was reported on December 6 by the US Geological Survey (USGS).

According to published data, the volcanic flow reached a height of about 1.2 thousand feet (370 m). Along with this, three fountains of the same size with a height of 500 feet (150 m) appeared during the eruption, which is an extremely rare phenomenon.

"Before the south vent became dominant, there were three roughly identical fountains 500 feet (150 m) high: two from the north and one from the south. This triple fountain is an extremely rare phenomenon," the service's report says.

The last eruption of the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii occurred on October 18. Then the column of smoke rose to a height of 4.8 km. The USGS reported that the fountain of the southern crater reached a height of just under 500 m, and the fountains of the northern crater reached about 330 m. It was noted that fine ash and particles of thin glass fibers were seen in the southwest of the Large Island of the archipelago.
