Evgenia Obolashvili, an employee of the Moscow 24 TV channel, was fired because of a video posted online in which she expresses the hope that "something will happen" with the flight from Moscow to Phuket. This was announced on December 6 by the TV channel itself in the Telegram channel.

Earlier, the girl posted a video on her Telegram channel, where she reported on the plane that sent a distress signal. She expressed the hope that "at least something would happen to the board" so that she and her colleagues could "work in an operational mode." The post was later deleted.

"Fired! <...> The words that the former employee of the operations department posted on her Telegram channel are inhumane.<... Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable — Evgenia Obolashvili no longer works with us," the TV channel reported.
